Technical - Environmental Regulatory Information

Historically, Coastwise published environmental and regulatory information including regulatory reports for Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. We also published permit decisions, rules and regulations and enforcement actions of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England Division.

Currently, Coastwise is associated with CEQAmap.com, a web based compilation of California environmental documents such as EIR's, Mitigated Negative Declarations and Summaries of Mitigations. Additionally, we provide access to community plans, design guidelines and similar documents that require environmental review as required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Trade - Historical "Fusion" (fiction)

Coastwise publisher and founder Dean Coker, has written a full length novel entitled "The Figurehead". First in a series of Carter Phillips adventures, The Figurehead is written to entertain and educate readers interested in the imperative of achieving peaceful coexistance through diplomacy and cultural understanding.

The reference to "Fusion," rather than "Fiction," stems from the inclusion of a historical timeline found at the end of the novel. This enables the curious reader an additional opportunity to learn more detail about events described in the fictionalized story. The timeline also makes a terrific teacher guide for use in classroom and/or discussion groups.
